Believe it or not, world famous actress Salma Hayek suffers from stage fright.
The 50-year-old actress opened up to HOLA! USA for the magazines May issue, speaking out about her struggle.
“I suffer from stage fright. No one would know it, but I get it really, really bad, she revealed.
Hayek said the issue arises when she is in front of a crowd.
If you take the camera away and put me in front of an audience, I just die, she said. Once I get onto the stage, you can’t tell. But then I can’t do anything else the rest of the day because I’m so exhausted.
Her mother, Diana Jiménez Medina, graced the cover of the mag with her A-list daughter ahead of Mothers Day.
Medina expressed her pride over her famous daughter and said she knew Hayek was destined for great things.
“I always knew that Salmita would be something big in her life because of her personality, her way of always working for what she wants, but she surprises me. She continues to surprise me more and more, Medina told the mag. There was one thing that I wanted: that was for Salma to be free to grow up and do whatever she wanted.”
Hayek has a 9-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault. She said motherhood has impacted her greatly.
“Feeling responsible helps you develop as a human beingYou learn a lot about yourself when you do something for someone else,” Hayek said.
The actress recently revealed to People magazine that Valentina has taken up a new odd business venture: making homemade slime.
She has a lot of it in the house. She has developed like 40 different recipes for slime and she became very popular in school because its not easy to make. Now shes experimenting with different things and the kids all want to learn and she teaches them, and then they want to buy it from her, she started selling the slime!
